SUMMARY
Despite its unchanging traditional setting, is the corrida quite the same as it used to be? It’s chief element, the bull, has undergone changes due to a progressive lowering of its age, its force and its horns. The comparison of rare images of 1915 and film footage of 1965, makes for an outstanding document in which we can observe how the attraction has abandoned the one interest in thrills for a more marked concern with artistic creativity. |
