SUMMARY
Jeff, a daydreaming florist nicknamed “Jean de la Lune” by his friends, is in love with Marceline, his friend Richard’s unfaithful mistress. When Richard breaks up with her, Jeff proposes and marries her. But Jeff’s blind, gentle love doesn’t stop Marceline from cheating on him, with the complicity of her brother Clo-Clo. Clo-Clo even informs Jeff that his wife is leaving. Jeff refuses to believe it. The future proves him right because Marceline comes back to him, moved to have heard children singing “Jean de la Lune.” |
