SUMMARY
On Paris Island, site of an American barracks, François Reichenbach films the arrival of volunteers ready to enlist in the Marines. Adolescents and young adults, they have all made this choice for different reasons, and some of them on no more than a whim. Will they be able to cope with the iron discipline to which they will be subjected for the next three months? For it is only at the end of this period that they can become real "Marines" and receive their insignias. |
