SUMMARY
Being at the same time a documentary and a fiction film, "LA FEMME SPECTACLE" denounces modern society which has turned woman into a commodity, an object, an instrument of work and pleasure, through beauty parlours, fashion magazines, night clubs and strip shows. We discover a strange new world where the ordinary woman tries to be a femme fatale, where the woman in love becomes deadly, where the stripper turns out to be a transvestite. A world where the everyday woman is on permanent display. |
