SUMMARY
Because she has skipped her philosophy class, Nadine is suspended from school for a day. She is bored. She tries to find dreams and escapism in others. First, she meets a geography student to whom she suggests a crazy adventure: to get up and leave, at once, to go anywhere. He refuses. Then she meets a former school friend who persuades her that she’s too middleclass and not made for adventure. Finally, with a man of 40, she dabbles in the power of money and experience. |
