SUMMARY
Two men strike up an acquaintance in a Right Bank café in Paris. The younger confides that he has just been to a prostitute with whom he thinks he is love. The other recounts that he is divorced, has a young daughter, and used to beat his wife who is now a successful "businesswoman ". They do not yet realize they are talking about the same woman: Janine.
