SUMMARY
Roger and Marion Blanchard have been married for 10 years. They are neither terribly happy nor terribly unhappy. Together, they have learned to live and to be bored. Everyday, Roger goes to his office and clashes with his boss. Every evening he has dinner with his family and tries to solve daily problems with Marion. On Saturdays, he invents unscheduled meetings to escape and meet his mistress. However, this double life does not satisfy him. But when 22-year-old Annette walks into his life with her youth and high spirits, he is tempted to give everything else up. |
